Participants are initially screened for attitude and motivation. The individual must WANT to change their life and be willing to donate their time to various agencies. Service work includes local senior centers and other places that will benefit our communities. If you are serious about changing your life!

If you have gang or drug related tattoos, or visible tattoo’s (face, neck & hands) that inhibit your chances of becoming employed or being productive members of society. WE CAN HELP!

Under Age 18: Average cost is $20.00 for each tattoo per treatment or free for qualified individuals, but they must complete 35 hours of 2nd Chance service work. (Five of these hours before the first treatment and ten before each subsequent treatment)

You must be working or going to school and/or must enroll in a job readiness or a vocational program. If you are on
supervision you must be in compliance. MUST BE GANG FREE!

If you get arrested or get a new tattoo you are terminated
from the program.

Over Age 18: Average cost is $40.00 for each tattoo per treatment. Cost may vary and will be discussed at screening. Participant must complete 25 hrs of 2nd Chance service work. (Five hours completed before the first treatment.



The additional ten hours to be completed prior to next tattoo removal treatment) You must be working or going to school and/or must enroll in a job readiness or a vocational program.  And if you are on supervision you must be in compliance.

The process and qualifications are as follows:
Attend a tattoo removal screening and qualification interview.

At your screening appointment, your tattoo will be examined
for removal.    

Candidates who qualify will be scheduled for 2nd Chance service work.   

Perform the necessary 2nd Chance service hours.   

A SCG representative will contact you to confirm your appointment.

Please note that tattoos require more than one session
